Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fall 2011

Jean Paul Gaultier sticks to his traditions of Punk rock for his fall 2011 Haute Couture collection. The runway was fun, full of confidence and quirky attitude. Gaultier re-created 'Madonna-ish' suits which were hugely popular in the 90s. The mens designs were fierce, can't wait to see men in sequin sheer pants, I hope they can be worn for women as well. The pin-stripe tutu suit is a keeper. As for the gowns, I just loved the white dress, I can imagine this on Beyonce...

Elie Saab Haute Couture Fall 2011

Lebanese designer Elie Saab dazzled us all with his Fall 2011 Haute Couture collection. Elie Saab knows his glitz and glam designs, and boy do we love them. Jaw dropping beaded goddess gowns will be flowing through the redcarpet. Colours from gold, nudes, icy blues, slim cuts, fine gorgeous fabrics were walking down the runway. Elie Saab has done it again!!!

Valentino Haute Couture Fall 2011

Elegance walked down the runway for Valentino Haute Couture. The collection was made for princesses. Since Valentino Garavni left 2 years ago, designers Maria Grazia and Pier Paolp Picciolo took over and have clearly made a name for themselves. Still keeping to Valentino style they have put more youth to the collection.
They captured couture with the luxurious fabric and cuts. They used lot of pale colours such as nudes, gold, creams which is quite light, still there has to be some red designs in the collection. Valentino couture was just graceful, these gowns I can imagine will be seen on redcarpets...

Exquisite hand-sewn beaded atelier gowns, Tisci Angelic white/ivory designs got us drooling from the embroidery to the tulle. A very bridal effect for Givenchy, the couture collection are pieces of art...
